Specifically N64 ones, I was wondering if this is possible as they look a bit better stretched into 16:9 ratio

I'm pretty sure you can only play the games in their original aspect ratio. At least you can play the game unaltered without things looking weird though so I'd suggest you get used to 4:3.

    i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
