Cut a charger cord. Link the black to the negative lead of a car battery, the red wire to the positive. Then plug that phone in and the car battery will melt it. Take it to an Apple store and the warranty covers meltdowns from faulty chargers. If the warranty is gone Gazelle will give you $75 for an iPhone 6s that won't turn on. I traded on just a few days ago and my check was sent today. Mine was dead from water damage.
