Can i repair this? (Motherboard Flex Connector)

    This gray cap broke, and i dont have it anymore...
    Can i fix this?

    Dont use duct tape.

    You can replace it, it uses a .5mm pitch 4pin ffc connectors.

    its fricken .5mm so if you can solder that go ahead

    But i dont have a soldering iron...
    And i really dont want to buy one...

    then you can just give up om your 3ds cause duct tape will not help you out nor wil it fix your connector.
    i thought you were looking for repair there is only one way that works.
    seems you're joking though so i'm not gonna be able to help you.
    and i'm not gonna help you with any other problems if you be this ignorant.
    a good enough for this job (about any iron that get's more then 300 degree's celcius is) solder iron goes around for less then 10 bucks you can even get a weller branded version if you'll look for it.

    Funfact: It did... I put the flex cable in and put a small piece of tape over it...

    (And no im not joking. Im 15 and have no idea about soldering. And i have no one that could help me with that. Maybe i learn soldering someday but not now.)

    Im fricken 15, I own a soldering iron, get a cheapass weller soldering iron.

    I found the old cap and put it back on, was not easy but its possible...

    i learned soldering when i was 10, so being 15 and still getting no skills?

    good hearing it's working, but i wouldn't get too comfortable with it working the way you repaired it.

    Its looking like original, nothing broke off... So i dont know why i should worry...

    And please, dont come here and say:"i can solder, why you dont" ._.
