Hacking Can I make a backup of my Super Smash bros brawl disk on vWii?

I was looking at the guide on how to hack your vWii, but I didn't find anything about dumping disks to a USB-Drive, only about loading games from it. Is it possible to dump my game?

Yes. USB Loader GX comes with a dumping option as well as being able to play it once dumped.

In all seriousness though, Cleanup works like a charm for dumping my GameCube games, and I think it works for Wii games too though I haven't tested it.

I'd recommend USB Loader GX to dump Wii and Gamecube games, CleanRip (or whatever it's called), often stalls with a "motor has stopped" error for me.

So does CFG USB loader. I'd assume any USB loader would.

Some people seem to think you have to use Cleanrip or the rips won't be right but all my Wii and Gamecube self rips were done in CFG, and all work perfectly. (of course you can only rip Gamecube games with it on a backwards compatible Wii)

Just FYI, the guide does mention dumping, in the section on installing games to your USB HDD.
