Hacking Browserhax on 10.7.0 for Installing Menuhax (for A9LH Installing)

How I launched Browserhax:
1. I whitelisted

yls8.mtheall.com +
mtheall.com

There's a simpler way, drop access to conntest.nintendowifi.net from your router.

Make sure the firewall rule is set to DROP and not REJECT otherwise you'll get the "The internet browser cannot be used at this time..." message.

Still can't make browserhax work pass grey screen.....

I had the same issue. I've solved it by manually downloading the hblauncher ropbin payload from http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ to the root of my SD card and renamed it to "browserhax_hblauncher_ropbin_payload.bin". Make sure you've downloaded the ropbin and not the otherapp.

If you read all of my post, you would discover that I was changing the exploit to OOT3Dhax and finished A9LH installing already.

You may be using wrong way to block nintendo server.

@Zocker4444 confirm that you won't get nag. May be it's only him or only on 11.0+.

I just managed to get Browserhax working on my 3DS 11.0.0 I'm still surprised it really works, after getting the browser nag.
FYI if you format the system, the browser nag is gone, tried it myself.

How I launched Browserhax:
1. I whitelisted

in my router settings and blocked everything else but no DNS was used.
2. I opened the browser and deleted the cookies and everything. After restart of browser I set the normal settings and left the browser again.
3.Wifi off! then scan the QR-code for Browserhax. In the browser it will tell you that Wifi is off and the page won't load. Leave Browser again.
4.Wifi on! just reopen the browser and it will start loading the last page (Browserhax page) in some kind of videoplayer.
You may need to retry it a few times, if the message roughly like "page didn't work" or something pops up. Just push the retry button. At some point the lower screen started changing colours and hung at the yellow colour.
5. At the yellow screen: unblock all sites in your router, so it may freely use the internet.
6. THAT's when it changed to grey, few seconds later to orange and voila, HBLauncher started.


Hope it works for you. I never thought I would get it working but I did!
And sorry for my english....


And I think it's now safe to say that Browserhax does in deed still work on 11.0.0-XX without updating...

Hello everyone, is browserhax still able for o3DS on 10.7.0-32U? I ask this because I formatted my 3DS and still getting the browser update message.
I did what the post #81 said after formatting (once again) my o3DS but still no luck, I don't know if it's my router, I don't know...
My router is a TP-Link TL-WR841N and this is what I did (check image):

I don't know what I'm doing wrong please help me.

PS: If I set the config to "Allow" in "Default filter policy" (check 1st image) it's like I didn't have internet connection, the 3ds browser will show up a message saying "Browser cannot be used at this time" (or something like that). And even Google Chrome on my PC will say "No internet connection" on any website (including the domain I putted on image 2).

You must set the firewall to drop packets instead of denying them. This doesn't seem possible with the stock firmware on your router. You could install OpenWrt, that's what I did with my TL-WR710ND.

Can you please explain me what to do exactly? I installed the OpenWrt firmware but I can't see no option to "Drop" packets anywhere

EDIT: Does the browserhax still working if I drop the packages on my router? If so... can anyone tell me exactly how to do it? I'm kinda lost :/ Sorry, I don't mean to bother anybody.
