Got a New 3DS with OFW 9.0.0-20E and Rei 10.3.0-28E EmuNAND. The system is configured to boot into ReiNAND via MSet.

I've been out of the scene for over 6 month... this setup isn't the best/comfortable, right? What setps are necessary to make the N3DS boot directly into CFW? :bow:

Follow the https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki.

9.0.0 - 9.2.0 (with an existing CFW): change menuhax to type 1, set your menuhax trigger to D-Pad down, then start the guide at Part 4. Note that anywhere "RedNAND" is mentioned, you can pretend it says "EmuNAND" instead as they are very similar and the instructions will be the same other than that.

Since you already have a cfw and are on 9.0.0, you have less steps to follow.

@Bonny Nobody's mentioned what A9LH actually does?

- 100% Consistent boot rate
- Hack triggers before operating system does: 8-second bootup and ability to unbrick sysnand (Move emunand over to sysnand and never worry about "accidentally updating" sysnand ever again
- No more worrying about installing GBA to both SysNand and EmuNand: Everything exists on sysnand solely now
- Switching from ReiNand to Luma3DS (Formerly AuReiNand): Luma has its own on-3ds updater apps, so updating can be done entirely on the system. No more hassle with firmware.bin either: Luma3DS generates its own FIRM so it doesn't need to rely on the one in the NAND, in case Nintendo ever tweaks it.

Here's a comparison video, if you want to decide if it's worth the extra 3-5 hours setting up:

In your scenario, you'd start at part 4 out of 5, here: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-4-(Getting-the-OTP)

Please note that the single, definitive guide is nowhere as bad as it were months ago, where we had 832503285 different versions of RxTools and a bunch of trial/error doing stuff like injecting FBI: This particular guide is very consistent, and should be pretty straightforward. Good luck!

I love how many people come back and want the latest good shit but "lel 3much "work" i cnt be arsed" without even spending 1 minute of their time to read and realize that they most likely already qualify to start at step 4 or 5 for A9LH. Someone could condense Plailects guide to one page, but then we'd have millions of threads of people who felt the information was insufficient, instead we get people who ASSUME it's too much "work".

If your time really is so precious then at least get MenuHax, but honestly, if your time is that precious, you probably shouldn't even be gaming in the first place, or at least not "hack" your systems. :)

Just install menuhax and luma, a9lh is the best way to go about doing things but menuhax works at boot and it should be easy enough for you to set up.

So many text, for such a small request... nah... not worth the hassle

It takes a few hours starting from scratch, maybe one and a half.

It really simple and straightforward.

It is not a hassle.
