Hello!

Today, I decided that I wanted to play Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel (GBC) again, and i'd really like to play it on the DS.

I know there is a GBA-mode GBC emulator, but using GBA things on the Supercard CF is often pretty complicated (saving, etc.) and I would prefer to have fullscreen on the DS (instead of the GBA borders).

What would be your suggestion? Is there a NDS-mode GBC emulator I could use to play this game? And if a GBA-mode emulator is the only option, which one would you recommend, and how do I use it with a Supercard CF?

Thanks in advance!!

Mmm... it shouldn't be that hard to code...
If I had any idea, I you probably give it a go, but I'm rather busy, and I no idea on what I'm talking about.

There is a new emulator for GBC on the DS, it is nowhere near as advanced as goomba (no sound for one) but it is DLDI using:

About 5 years ago I have wrote partial gameboy emulator in C purely for fun, so it never gone public. To try some NDS programming I have just ported it NDS. As there is no DLDI emu realesed for NDS I decided to add support for it and release here. Rom selection menu is based on work done for StellaDS by spathi-wa from r4ds forums.

Some emulator (mis)features:
- no sound emulation
- no or incorrect serial/ir/dma/cpu emulation
- no realtime sync, game will go as fast as it can
- full speed for games that use less than about 50% of GB CPU
However some games are playable anyway.

How to use:
- copy rom files to /lameboy/ dir on your flash card
- run lameboy.nds and select rom
- in game keys:
-- L+R - back to rom select
-- Y - switch fullscreen upscaling on/off
-- X - save persistant ram to .sav file

There are also rumblings of a Goomba port.
