I have a 3DS but never had the regular DS. I'd really like to play some DS games.

I've got CFW installed on my 3DS (with Luma and all that), and I'm wondering what the best way to play DS games would be. Is it necessary to buy a DS? I've seen some used ones around. I recall hearing that 3DS can't play DS games (well?) but that supposedly changing. If I want to play some old Pokemon games and the like, which one would be the easiest and most error-free way?

Thanks a lot.

TWLoader or just buy a flashcart TWLoader has a much nicer look but the compatibility is not great suggest the r4i gold 3ds rts flashcart

No, it's not required (there are highly compatible DS flashcards for half the cost of an original game, and alternatively software solutions)

However a real DS/i with proper fullscreen display may satisfy you better than miniature or poorly stretched DS games on a 2/3DS

The "miniature" screens on the XL are the same size as a DSi (Same goes for GBA)

There's a guy on the Tube of You that makes playable mechanical arcade games out of Lego. This could work on the same principle.

Hey, I bought a modchip today and it says "New 2040plus" in the top left corner. Is this a legit chip or was I scammed?
