Your favorite defeated enemy quote is coming back stateside! Natsume is finally releasing one of the 5 Japanese exclusive 3DS titles, to the US market this summer. Here is an article from a visit to the game booth at the E3 convention.

Many of the Asian-only region Kunio/River City games on NES/GB/SNES, have been translated over the years by fan groups. But none of the 3DS titles have ever had an english release/translation.
There was also mention that there will be an upcoming NES River City Ransom remake on 3DS, but only as a Japanese release. No mention of Western localization, but at least it's not an impossible dream to consider now!
BTW...Still hoping the fantasy RPG/action themed Nekketsu Mahou Monogatari may have a possible future translation/release. Think River City, but with swords and kicking dragons in the face! "BARF!"
