Try this

nesDS:
"/nesDS.nds"//file path
[$PRGMPATH$,$FILEPATH$]//arguments are separated by commas
;

If you have nesDS in _dstwoplug it might be

nesDS:
"/_dstwoplug/nesDS.nds"//file path
[$PRGMPATH$,$FILEPATH$]//arguments are separated by commas
;

And don't forget that if you want to load nes roms, you must have nes.arg wich is the arg file for loading nes
wink.gif
So nex.arg will nor work. You just had to edit nes.arg wich is already in ext folder

EDIT: Here's custom icons. Uncompress it on you SD root.
http://www.multiupload.com/FJ4OQLGMAZ

EDIT2: sorry about that but i've mad a mistake. You can creat a folder in /_bagui/custom_icons/ for it. Refering to skin.ini
Code:
#locations for custom icons. If left none, then custom icons will be loaded from the same folder as the files being displayed
#if a custom icon does not exist in the folder, it will still check the same folder as the file for an icon.
Custom_Icon_Folder = /_bagui/custom_icons/

For some reason in my games folder I get doubles of all my ds games. I get ones with the proper icon and then duplicate fake ones with a ds logo. Any idea why this is happening?

Like the menu a lot by the way.

The pictures I'm talking about not working are the boxart pics like that Pokemon Soulsilver in the example on page 1.

Also I'm getting this error when I try to run snes games directly from the bag menu.

"External Program for SMC not found."

BagPlug Boxart Guide

-----------------------Commercial ROM's--------------------------------------

1. download the coverspack from the 1st post

2. place then in /_bagui/cover art/nds (create folders where necessary)
(note: go inside one of the 3 folders "DSI, KOR ect" and copy the .png's from there to the nds folder)

3. open notepad in there paste the following

Code:
ÂÂ
[nds]
#path to folder with covers
folder = /_bagui/cover art/nds
#image type
type = png

4. save it in the directory where your games are ( ie if you have a games folder place it there)
and name it CoverArt.ini (set file type to all files)

for any games that don't have a cover see below

1. open BAGplug and highlight the game(s) without a cover

2. press select and select properties

3. note down the game ID

4. go to a site like gbatemp scene releases section
or go to the search function and find the thread with the game you want the cover for

5. open the thread and save the picture on the 1st post ( right click -> save image as-> .png)

6. open the directory where the cover was saved and copy it to the folder where the rest of the covers are (_bagui/cover art/nds)

-----------------------Homebrew--------------------------------------

(Boxart)
1,. download VactoLoco's CoverPack
download.gif
Download

2. make a folder on your SD card and call it homebrew (yes, as the name suggests you put homebrew in here)

3. copy the CoverArt.ini to the "homebrew" folder

4. Place the homebrew folder to where your coverart folder is
(note: edit the CoverArt.ini to the folder where your coverart folder is)

5. Make sure the homebrew is the same name as the coverart .png

(Icon's)

place then in the same directory as the file you want the icon for
OR
they can be placed in a directory as defined in the current skin.ini under "Custom_Icon_Folder".
eg:
BAGSFC.plg - the file you want to have a custom icon
BAGSFC.png/BAGSFC.bmp- the icon file

Now Test and your Done

So I need to just change the name of my covers to the gameID and not the name of the rom?
yeah

i did what you did before and it didn't work i got a bit frustrated and found out some one was doing a covers pack,
i downloaded it and found out all of the covers were named by there game id's.

@lordgoober try editing the sfc.arg file with notepad
and your coverart issue well yeah "absolutely USELESS"

I HAVE catsfc on this thing in its default directory. I'm just trying to figure out how to get the bagplugin to look in the right place...

So all the work I just did renaming the coverart from the game id to the rom name was absolutely USELESS?

Sorry, only ASCII text is supported, this may change in the future. As for your gb/gbc issue, I don't think lameboy supports launch arguments or the extlink.dat so you will have to re-browse for your games in the emulator.

I'll look into it, how many games were in the folder?

Make sure you are editing the smc.arg file as well as the sfc.arg file for your snes games. There are two different snes rom formats.
Only commercial roms need to have their covers named their game ID, everything else will look for covers with the same name as the file you are highlighting.

This is a grew piece of homebrew. After using your menu, I can't imagine switching back to the official version. Now we just need some more skins made, and it'll be perfect.

There are 23 games in the folder.
Also I have "Use internal nds names" on. If I turn it off each ds logo gets text next to it like this "._Super Mario 64 DS.nds" and it does that for every game I have.

The arg support doesn't seem to autoboot nds roms anymore for me.

Make sure your file path in the .arg file is set to $INTERNAL$ otherwise it will not edit the files required to set auto boot in the DSTwo firmware.

Yup, everything is set up properly, I even copied over my old one before I updated and still nothing, just boots into the dsgame.nds

Can you post your lastsave.ini and globalsettings.ini after launching a game. I think I may know what the problem is.

Looks alright here, does it work with any other games? Have you tried launching a game from a different directory?
Strange, tried that and got nothing, I went back to the old firmware and got nothing, so I am going to try and format my card differently

Try setting enterLastDirWhenBoot=0 to enterLastDirWhenBoot=1
This works for me.
