man, I'm playing Donkey Kong Land 1(GBC) on my DS and it's awesome
better than most DS games I've played, it's so great to play a good old one screen platformer...

I mean, nsmb was alright, but pretty forgettable, princess peach was a bit better, yoshis island DS is one of the worst games ever, sonic rush was pretty cool though
but I'm having more fun playing some greyscale donkey kong

maybe it's the nostalgia factor and fond memories I have of borrowing my brothers brick and playing DKL..

I really enjoyed Donkey Kong Country GBC more than the others for some reason, not sure why.

I've never played any Donkey Kong Country games before. For some reason, they looks too straightforward to me. I better try the GBA version though.
