Hacking Anyone 'member what the sound bug fix is?

A while back, I read about procedure to patch/dump sound fix to 3DS SD. I think it was for unsigned homebrew..

I forget what it's called so I don't know what to search. Anyone 'member?

Can you use the DSPdump for another console other than yours? Plailect guide used to tell you to dump it, but ever since 11.0 DSPdump doesn't work correctly. and you can't access HBL prior to 9.0. So for 3ds's that started on 2.1, 4.5, etc. you either had to ctr transfer to 9.2 then update, or ctr transfer back from 11.2 just to get that file. But the guide doesn't tell you to dsp dump BEFORE you get on the 11.0 bandwagon. Last time i checked the guide assumed that it was still possible on the latest version. (which was true up to 10.7)

It looks like this is no longer needed anyway..

"This problem appears only for non-2.5 *haxs users cause new payloads have a built-in dsp firmware. What this homebrew does is to extract this firmware and let you use it on 3DS/CIA homebrews or on NH 2.1 or lower."

I know that, but the guide used to tell you to update, then at last do the dspdump. I haven't checked if plailect fixed the order.

CHHM2, for exampled. It enables the themes previews.
