Hacking Any way to visit Japanese eShop/get Japanese demos with a Gateway 3DS?

Title says all. The Super Smash Bros. demo was just released on the Japanese eShop and I'd like to play it if possible. I have a Gateway on emunand of the latest version of course.

Sadly nope.

This is one of the biggest outstanding issues with compatibility atm. Certain online focused games from other regions can't be played online even with Gateways support for online because they have software updates that affect the online and you can't connect to other region eShops to download said update.

yeah let's try getting them working on japanese 3DSes first.it works on emunand, it would be good to get it working on non-japanese units but the full game isn't that far away.

you need to learn to ask good questions, there is nothing 'japanese' specific about your idea, you could also ask how to access the korean shop from a european 3ds - the answer is still no

are you talking about the picture in the locked thread.....in which case he didn't he just loaded it up and then opened the gateway menu while the demo was running to show the game was playing in emunand and not just a updated console

Ok see, thanks I did wonder. also I was thinking how did he download it in the first place if he was still on 2.2???, he would not of been able to access e-shop unless he had updated to the new 2.3b 8x FW to access e-shop. So he must of grabbed it from somewhere.
