Unfortunately, I don't think so :-( AC:NL stores its data in different memory addresses. My dumper only dumps an specific address that contains current player and town data. If you try that, it will probably crash.

honestly I odn't care so much if I lose my catalog and museum. I just REALLY like my town's layout. so if the town can be edited by your dumper, than theoretically I could downgrade, start a new map, and when your RAM dumper/injector is a little smarter (such a river editing and building placement) I could theoretically edit it to mirror my old town

You won't lose your town if you downgrade. I tried myself and i didn't lose it. The RAM dumper works, but i'm not sure if it works in 4.5 since i moved my save from eShop to .3dz, but you'll have to see it yourself

Acres are not editable yet and I can't promise anything since my free time is very limited :-(

I have a retail cart. Doesn't the save encryption from 6.0+ not work on 4.5 or something?

I was able to get my ACNL save working by downgrading to 4.x and running the cart, saving, and then dumping the rom

I'm gonna powersave my acnl save and open it with savedata filler
also, the unlock all PWP file works with emunand
EDIT: The save seems to edit fine with powersaves, and works on gw classic mode

The map editor was updated to a new version with a lot of tweaks! Please refresh the site (F5) to force my host to give you the new version. A standalone version will be released soon.

I have been testing the injector and editing the dumper too. Thanks to NeoKamek, who gave me a few bits of the US retail version.
If everything goes well, you'll be injecting RAM tomorrow :-)

Remember that we still need most outside items (trees, flowers, wilted flowers...), please contribute if you find an unknown item.

Got the green screen and froze, but the acnlram.bin file still ended up on the SD card. My map looks like this: http://imgur.com/peboPwi, so I'm guessing that's a bad dump since only a few random trees and shells are identified?? Nothing in pockets, dresser is all question marks. Using a physical cartridge, US Version, system ver 9.4, midnight purple small 3ds, yadayadayada.

Tried the new dumper and cleared my browser setting and it worked! I can see the stuff in my dresser and in my pockets now, yay!

ACNL is never patched (Ver 1.0) Maybe it is existing only in JP.

Did you try the latest dumper?
It's going to be hard to support the japanese 1.0 version since it's so different from the version we got.

The new dumper works on 9.5 emunand, but it frezes when it loads the code
