One of the biggest things I've missed from the original DS was the alarm clock feature (the next would be PictoChat, but I digress). It had a distinct sound that gradually got louder and helped me wake up in the morning.

Does anyone know if there is a Homebrew app for an alarm clock, possibly able to be installed via .cia? It doesn't have to even be a replica of the original DS one. I just really like having an alarm clock on the 3DS, and the home-menu is something great for it.

which sound

You could just rip the audio from this video Cut the specific Sound.
Copy it to your Phone and set the Alarm to Ascending Audio

I was referring to the original DS system. It had this:

I probably could do that with my phone actually thinking about it, just thought the app was something that would've been done aleady since it's something that I've seen some complaints about with the system.
