Homebrew After the Homebrew Channel?

You guys have always helped me but my friend needs help he was able to install the Homebrew Channel and what's some suggestions for what to install next.

What would you install first if you could start from the beginning again

IOS58, USB Loader GX, Devolution or Nintendon't depending upon your preference. Retroarch for your emu use, sounds like you would be done there to me

depends on what you want to do, why did you installed it on the first place?
for play backups? get cfg usb loader or usb loader gx or wii flow for that... (my preference is usb loader)
do you want to play gamecube games? either install dios mios or nintendont or devolution (or the 3 of them)
do you want to use wii for emulation and play old games? get emulators and roms!
