I have two 3rd Party Wii Motion "2 in 1" Remotes along with nunchucks. I have an authentic Gamecube controller. I understand that when I open up HBC, the Wii remotes may or may not work. In the event they don't work, would I be able to use my Gamecube controller to navigate to whatever game I need and then turn the 3rd party remotes back on when the game is opened? Or would they still not work?

Guess you will find out...

I saw a few topics about this but no one I seen said they didn't work in Wii Games so I'm sure a Gamecube controller would work.

Gamecube controller works in the HBC and the Configurable USB Loader.

Yeah. GCN Controllers work just fine on HBC. I use USB Loader GX (which can boot VC/Wiiware, GameCube games from Nintendont, and backup games off a USB Stick) and it is GCN Controller compatible (the analog stick becomes the pointer, and I think you can configure it's speed in settings).
