In nintendo conference I saw that the Wii U has the possibility of making video calls, and then i thought the 3ds should have this function too, do you believe that the 3ds will have or support video calls?

I was thinking about it the other day... It would be way cool to text chat and video chat with online friends.

Nintendo try to stay clear of things like that on their handhelds :/ I think it's because they are looking out for kids.

Because Nintendo didn't fully develop the game? And how could they refuse their biggest money maker if it had video calls in it?

Nintendo didn't make Dead or Alive: Dimensions.

I doubt the 3DS will a feature like video chat. I hope that we'll get voice chat in online games though.

Then why the wii u is going to have a video call, i know that most of people who has the 3ds are thinking about buying or will buy a wii u. It's pointless to say that they're triyng to evade something since they're not guilty about whom you call or talk to.

You didn't notice I said "handheld" and not console?

Why do you think the nintendo "handhelds" have friend codes . The wii U is a console. Parents can watch what their kids are doing when it comes to consoles and restrict what they are doing on it. It's different with a handheld they can do stuff unsupervised.

You act like I was sprouting complete shit when what I said clearly has a lot of proof to back it up.

I understand your point of view but you're forgetting that the 3ds has parental controls, Parents just need to put a code there and the kid won't be able to make calls or send mesages.

I think it's possible?
I mean, in Starfox for the 3DS, the multiplayer mode has like the faces of your opponents and it "shows" their reaction when you kill them..

Yeah but honestly how many parents actually use that? I mean these days most parents don't know much about console features and such. They probably wouldn't use Skype, doesn't Microsoft own Skype now?

Unfortunately, Starfox 64 3ds will ONLY feature local multiplayer. Not online. Don't ask.
