What kind of case?

Hey guys I heard some people suffer from the 3DS scratching its own screen lol. Just wanted to know if there is any kind of case that prevents this from happening. I dont really like screen protectors as mine always has bubbles

Wow sorry I started off with such a hard question. No one has got a case?

No case that I know of has any special bumpers to prevent that from happening. Most cases just cover the outside of the 3DS, not the inside. You can always try adding your own bumpers to the top corners. There was a thread a while back on this. http://gbatemp.net/b...mpers-tutorial/

I made a reply on the blog showing my 3DS with some bumpers. Here's a picture of it:



It works wonders and really does help. The ONLY time I still get those lines is when the 3DS is in my pocket and I'm sitting down and the pressure pushes down the little green bumpers (since it is rubber after all), and then the top screen touches the bottom half and leaves just a semi-noticeable mark. I have a screen protector on so it's easy to just wipe off. But if the 3DS is just sitting out on a table or the charging dock, no lines have appeared since.

if you use one of the silicone cases, they add a layer surrounding both the top and bottom halves which provide enough material to prevent the touch screen bezel from touching the 3D screen when the system is closed. they also do not look as "ghetto" as the super-sized bumpers.

seriously, I store my 3DS in a soft case when it's not in use. the silicone sleeve is just to keep bezel from touching the upper display (when its closed) and from it from getting all "fingerprinty"
