well the trade in has nothing to do with sony obviously. Like gamestop here, they do these trade in things all the time, get extra credit twords a specific things when you trade in new gen systems.

That's an okay-ish deal if you no longer have interest in the 3DS anymore. I'm rather looking forward to the upcoming games for the 3DS. Kid Icarus, Luigi mansion, paper mario, kingdom hearts. All too good to miss out. =P

I would have if i'd paid the current 3DS price. There's no way i'm trading in something that i paid the launch price on and that i have just one game for. I'm still waiting for the 3DS to have some games that actually demand playing. If i could go back in time at this point i'd tell my previous self NOT to buy either the 3DS or the Vita at launch.

Smash Bros.

If I traded in my 3DS and THEY gave me money, I'd consider.

Quite a stupid move to trade in your 3ds for, especially, a vita. Considering all the awesome upcoming games.

Right now I have Starfox64 3DS, Mario Kart7, Street Fighter 4, Pokemon Platinum (given by my gf <3) and Pokemon White. There's no way I'd return my 3DS now to get a Vita. But that doesn't mean Vita is that bad at all..

If I were the OP, i'd keep the 3DS games, do the trade and buy a cheaper 3DS (they're 'relatively' cheap here..!) AND get the Vita.

Stores are suffering 3DS shortages in some regions while there will be no shortage for Vita's whatsoever- they want to prepare for that. Not a Sony tactic, and actually, quite a good deal. 130-140 pounds off? Nice.

Lol@thread title.

I entered this thread thinking they slashed the price too much too quickly. Gee... But I also thought it must be for a limited time and part of some promotion.

I have Mario Kart 7, Ocarina of Time and Samurai Warriors and sold my Ambassador 3DS to get a Vita. And I'm hyped.

Not a bad deal...

I just don't see what people are fighting about.
