Users can link to this guide so they don't have to write instructions on posting a SysCheck over and over.

Creating a SysCheck.
  • Extract the contents of SysCheck Files to your SD card.
  • You will probably be asked if you want to merge or overwrite your "apps" and/or "config" folder. Choose "Merge" if prompted.
  • Insert your SD card into your Wii and turn it on.
  • Load the Homebrew Channel.
  • Launch SysCheck v2.1.0b17 and choose to scan all IOS's.
  • If it freezes at any point, make note of what IOS it freezes on. If it doesn't freeze, press Home and skip to "Posting your SysCheck".
  • Hold down the POWER button until your Wii shuts down.
  • Turn on the Wii an load the Homebrew Channel.
  • Load SysCheck v2.0.1 and choose to scan all IOS's.
  • If this version freezes as well, make note of what IOS it freezes on and choose skip down to the "Both version of SysCheck Freeze!" section. If it doesn't freeze, press Home.
Posting your SysCheck.
  • Turn off your Wii and put your SD card into your computer.
  • Open up "SD:syscheck.csv" with WordPad (NotePad and Excel won't display it properly).
  • Press Ctrl+A to select everything. Now press Ctrl+C to copy everything.
  • Make a new post (in the appropriate thread) and create spoiler tags. Click between the "][" like so:

    Posted Image
  • Press Ctrl+V to paste the contents of syscheck.csv between the spoiler tags.
  • If SysCheck v2.1.0b17 froze on an IOS and you had to use v2.0.1, mention the IOS number.
  • Save your post.
Both versions of SysCheck Freeze!
  • Hold down the POWER button until your Wii shuts down.
  • Turn on the Wii an load the Homebrew Channel.
  • Load Dop-Mii v13
  • Choose "Scan the Wii's internals (SysCheck)" and press A to continue.
  • During the scan, you may be asked multiple times if you want to continue, and you will have to reconnect your remote. This is normal, just press A twice (once to reconnect) to continue.
  • Once it's finished, you will be asked if you want to save the report. Press + to save it to the SD card.
  • Exit Dop-Mii.
  • Turn off your Wii and put your SD card into your computer.
  • Open up "SD:DOP-Mii-Report.csv" with WordPad (NotePad and Excel won't display it properly).
  • Press Ctrl+A to select everything. Now press Ctrl+C to copy everything.
  • Make a new post (in the appropriate thread) and create spoiler tags. Click between the "][" like so:

    Posted Image
  • Press Ctrl+V to paste the contents of DOP-Mii-Report.csv between the spoiler tags.
  • Replace # with the IOS number(s) that both versions of SysCheck froze on.
  • Save your post.

Suggestions are welcome. :)
Thanks to the following:

Do I need to do the Dop-Mii if neither of the previous scans don't freeze?

Update: I went ahead and ran it, because I figured you meant that I should run it even if the Wii doesn't freeze on the previous 2 scans.

No, you only have to do one. If the first one doesn't freeze, it says to skip to "Posting your SysCheck".

I believe yes as people tend to forget what IOS/cIOS they installed and sysCheck is the best way to tell whats inside your Wii. Especially usefull for people who let others mod their Wii and therefore have no clue what files have been installed.

It froze on me and a few others. If the next release works okay, I'll update to it. Thanks for the link though.

I know it works for most people. It worked for me before changing some cIOS's. As far as I know, b9 works fine for everyone.

New FileTrip Download Link syscheck is out, maybe this is stable:

SUNDAY, JULY 31, 2011

sysCheck 2.1.0 b12
by Erik Spyder, Double_A, R2-D2199
Homebrew application which does several checks on installed IOS and custom IOS:
- IOS Stub;
- Fake signature (aka Trucha Bug);
- ES_DiVerify (aka ES_Identify);
- Flash Access;
- NAND Access;
- Boot2 Access;
- USB 2.0

sysCheck generates a report on the root of the SD card (sd:/sysCheck.csv).

Thanks for the post, this was really helpful. I lost track of a few Cios' somewhere along the way, so this was just what I needed.
