Ok, few days ago , you tested the first console from atari, the Atari VCS 2600 and the Atari VCS 5200 ...
Now, let's see the last one from Atari. This one is the last attempt of reply for coleco and Intellision console, the Atari 7800 Pro System!!! ...
Hope you will enjoy it, it's of course the fist version and i need to improve it ...
It's based on ProSystem emulator and of course, the source code is released because it's not my source code

To use this emulator, you must use compatibles rom with a78/bin format.
Do not ask me about such files, I don't have them. A search with Google will certainly help you.

Controls :
* Direction pad : the joystick ...
* A : Fire button 1
* B : Fire button 2
* SELECT : SELECT Button
* START : START Button
* R : RESET Button (yes R like Reset tongue.gif)

Vidéo :

Some screenshots :

Download : A7800DS V1.0

Of course, i'm releasing the source code because I am not the original author of ProSystem Emulator : A7800DS V1.0 source code

V1.0 : 24/05/2011
* Initial release based on my a320 version (which is based on Prosystem 1.0.3)
* Compiled with last version of Devkitpro/libnds, so DSi compatible \o/

its working in dsi-mode on the ievo. i noticed that this one isn't using a bios? since one isn't required for the 2600 and 7800, could the problem with the 5200 be something related to the loading of the bios?

i forgot how fun 7800 games were. i haven't enjoyed them since my dingoo a320 got a cracked screen =(. its so nice to play them again in dsi-mode. seriously though alek, i can't thank you enough. these are the systems i grew up with and i'm so happy to play them again. homebrew is the only reason i still enjoy my nintendo handheld systems. i can't believe that i'm sitting with my feet up right now playing Dark Chambers!! =)

alek, are you entering your 3 emus for the dsi category of the homebrew bounty?

I can't do such thing ?

Also, happy that i works on DSi too. Will check A5200DS and bios installation, really strange ...

Nice, gonna put all those Atari Emu's on my DSi, forever, it's always nice to play once and awhile some retro atari classics smile.gif
Think it's time to put my Atari 2600/7800 in the boxes and stash them away, to save me some room.

Thanks for yet another great emulator. Now all I need is someone to make some icons for iMenu and I'm as happy as a pig in muck.

So I looked up a ROM set for 7800 games.....the whole file was only 13 megs unzipped. Basically that means it's easy enough to have ALL 7800 games on the DS. Sounds good to me.

Now all we need is an Intellivision emulator.....you know, one where we have access to the GOOD INTV games, instead of just the ones that came in that official compilation.

There was, in fact, I was able to grab alek's first version of it before the SC forum SDK section shut down. I still have it, but never tried it. Supposedly that only ran one ROM and ran it slowly.

This is better smile.gif

Thanks again, alek. You are really rocking the bounty.
