NOTE: This guide is a WIP. I'm contemplating on whether to add images or not. As well as to go more in depth to make it n00b friendly. If you have a nice site for getting PSP Theme please post them so I may add them to the "How To". Thanks.

Might want to un-center the steps, having to read each line in a jagged way is ugly.

Also might want to split it into sections, such as getting and adding the plugin, then activating it, then finding themes, then adding them to the PSP.

Sorry if I'm sounding alarmingly pants-on-head-retarded about this but what kind of themes does Prometheus 4/5 (I forget which one I'm on) work with? M33, GEN, etc? On a PSP 1K if that makes any difference at all.

Prome is just an addon, for anything not related to PSP games treat it like the base firmware (M33/GEN).

CFT themes will work.

Well I was on the 5.50 version, whatever the difference is, so I'll stick with those and hope.

I took your advice. happy.gif I must say it looks a ton better.

I have one final question. I followed the guide and everything's working so far. I added a custom dynamic 'Cloud' theme and set it, but it's giving me a little trouble. It all works fine, even if the startup video of Sephiroth getting his ass handed to him is a little stuttery, but it seems to take a LOT longer to boot anything up. The PSP itself takes about 10-15 seconds to load, and games take a few seconds longer than before with the custom gameboot that came with the theme. To be fair the theme file is about 15MB, huge for a theme. But should it slow the system down THAT badly? Is there anything I can do to improve performance?

I'm not quite sure, but I'd try to switch your theme back to the regular menu. Does it still take longer to boot? If so, like you said it's the theme. As for improving the performance, someone else might have to help you with that.

It was never slow before I did this. I suspect it's the theme. I'll switch over to the Mario one, see if that makes any difference.

Incidentally, how do I add Gameboots? I assume it's part of the theme since the Cloud one came complete with video gameboots. How do I use them?
