SNES9x v4.4.3 PS3 Port
Update

The SNES9x port, a Super Nintendo Emulator for the Playstation 3 has been updated, the download below has builds for the following firmwares: 1.92, 3.41 and the 3.55 CFW. See the changelog below for more information or take a look at the included 'readme'.

Installation

QUOTE(Changelog)
  • Autodetection of Super Scope/Mouse/Multitap had a bug in it - after you
loaded a Super Scope/mouse game and then tried to load a multitap-compatible
game, the game would attempt to hook up the Mouse/Scope instead due to an error
in a switch/case statement. Fixed this.

Is this signed, or do we still need to use Jailbreak with this?

I would assume only the 3.55 one is signed as you can only install and run signed homebrew on Geohots 3.55 whereas it doesn't need to be signed on the other firmwares. Correct me if I am wrong.

I think I'm turning into a stuck-up snob.

I don't want to download and use this.
Not because I don't condone piracy.
Not because I'm afraid of getting banned.

But because of the instructions "Put the roms in ROOT"
I want to be able to throw it into a folder called "SNES ROMS" and not clutter up my USB drive.

Geez. I gotta be hand-fed everything nowadays.

They don't have to be in the root. Unless you mean the startup folder, which you can change.

Once they add usb mouse support, this will be a perfect emulator. And for bonus points they could work on adding Move support for the Super Scope.

The mouse... for Mario Paint?

Shouldn't the Super Scope be a requirement while the mouse gives bonus points?

Mario Paint was better than any superscope game.
