Disco-like RPG 'Broken Roads' to launch next month

According to steam, it should have full controller support on PC. Glad to see a final release date! :D

"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2" finally coming to Steam

Looks like it's releasing next week on Tuesday 3rd. They updated the release date. It also says it requires an internet connection to play.. which is lame. Was hoping the steam version could at least be played offline (like the switch version)..

Bethesda's upcoming game schedule leaked, includes Fallout 3 and Oblivion remasters

I agree, I wish they would remaster New Vegas instead.. Fallout 3 was ok, but not too keen to replay it

Red Dead Redemption heads to Switch and PS4, but will not be a remaster, and will not release on PC

I hope it runs well, I've wanted to replay the first one. Would've preferred a PC release so I could play it on my steam deck, but am also happy with a Switch release

"The Last Hope" video game gets pulled from the Nintendo eShop amidst a copyright claim by Sony

Possibly reputational damage to Sony, people might think it's a nintendo port of Last of Us 🤣

Steam's annual Summer Sale arrives yet again

Ah alright, I always thought summer was supposed to be the best one, but it never seemed like it was. That makes sense then 1688404620 Oh, didn't see that. No idea to be honest. When I see EIA, I think of environmental impact assessment, I doubt it's that though :D

Steam's annual Summer Sale arrives yet again

I think Bladexdsl meant that you usually get better deals from legitimate 3rd party key sellers (that you can activate on Steam). I rarely buy games directly from Steam. Those shady keyshops are typically even cheaper, but I avoid those. But yeah otherwise, I wasnt too impressed with this sale...

40min Nintendo Direct announced for February 8th

I'd agree but i feel that the fall in value of cash is also proportional to the fall in quality of games nowadays. So in the end, the price should remain the same. I dont mind paying more, but I can barely justify paying current prices for some of the games that come out (especially at launch)

    Best use of Steam Deck

I agree, I can tweak settings and get better battery life than what I got in the original nintendo switch model (which was also fine for me). Except that games just look way better on the deck

Shaders taking up too much space on your 64GB? Here's a fix

Yeah unfortunately it doesn't seem like a good permanent fix, I'll probably install a 512gb ssd

Shaders taking up too much space on your 64GB? Here's a fix

Yeah i didnt see any mention of that either but i had huge performance drops on Forza Horizon 5, it was completely unplayable. It wouldnt even load on GE Proton7-14 or proton experimental. It would load on steamplay's default proton (7.0.1 in my case) but a lot of stutter rendering it completely...

Shaders taking up too much space on your 64GB? Here's a fix

Edit: it seems that there are pretty heavy performance drops when doing this, at least with Forza Horizon 5. I came across this fix on reddit, thought I'd share it here as well. Credits to albynomonk and nemnapos. This will free up approx 30gb on ur internal drive and always save shader files...

Adding Game Icons for non-steam apps

I don't know for sure, but I think so. I found a folder called librarycache on the main drive and it appeared to me that all the banners, backgrounds and logos were saved there. Changes and mods are slowly trickling in, hopefully it'll be possible to put the microsd card to more use :D
