However, some (probably a lot) of the games require phoning home in some way, or some other form of server access to run. Just having the games does not mean you will forever be able to play them.
Because some of us are old and prefer direction controls to be the way we learned them. On a 'tradiditional' D-Pad, there is a pivot point in the centre, enabling you to press left OR right, up OR down, but never both.
One problem with Nintendo's new direction buttons, is that they used them on...
I don't know what the long term effects will be, but what I did, was install windows 10 on the deck, then perform the upgrade to windows 11. When I check my settings it says that windows is correctly licensed.
I'll let you know in the future if it is true or not.
*Yarr*
Just sayin'
But seriously, if you want to own something, buy the physical version. That goes for games consoles too, buy the disk version of the console and buy the disk games, or else this can happen with everything you 'own'.
Been playing this on the steamdeck, wirdly the deck controls arent perfect. Left stick is either 'full' or nothing, you can't walk slowly etc. but ds5 controller works perfectly.
In my day [old man shouts at cloud], the public was rarely told about release dates. If a game wasn't finished, usually it would get pushed back and nobody would know. If a game wasn't finished, it wasn't released. These publishers need to get out of the habit of releasing unfinished crap and...
If you play on an old CRT tv, the quality will be passible, if you play on a modern flat screen, it will be too blurry to even play some games. Upscaling on modern tv's is terrible. If you don't mind a little soldering, you can build a cheap hdmi(ish) adapter yourself...
True, but that's my TV, not the hdmi adapter. Samsung TV's never upscale without bluring, there are no options for that. Even a Wii with pixel perfect component cable blurs on a Samsung.
Computer monitors are perfect though.
If you think my TV going from 480p to 4k digitally is bad, you should have seen it do 240p to 4k from RCA. You couldn't even see some of the details in conkers bad fur day, ropes for example were completely blured out, took me ages to get out of that pit once because I couldn't see the roppe to...
It's only outputting 640x480 (doubled from 320x240) my TV has terrible upscalling and blurs everything. On a true HDMI output, it would be a lot crisper.

It's emulating exactly what the physical hardware does at an electrical level. Software emulation only emulates an aproximation...
It is a well known fact among commercial game devs that you can't stop piracy, then best you can do is slow it down. Ask anyone who has been in the game dev business for a long time (there are plenty of interviews on the subject) and they will tell you, they only intend to slow down piract for...
Most of the time yea I knew, I watch and read the news regularly, but sometimes the Hollywood BS stuff, like concerning actors slip by me. I don't follow most Hollywood BS (example: the Kardasians)
@BigOnYa there were relevant issues before south park was made, that's why i think a south park prequel/spinoff would be great. Randy and his friends in their child hood
Yea, like them running in high school together, getting into stuff, and how they got hitched and had kids. And how the town of South Park was back then compared to now. That would be cool to see.
@salazarcosplay if they made a prequel, it would still be about current issues, cause it doesn't make sense to make it about stuff that happened 30 years ago that nobody cares about anymore
