You guys can post the xbins.org site since the files aren't actually hosted there/provided on the site. This came up in an old topic of mine and that was the conclusion a mod made. Also xbins were the easiest for me going from 2.0 to most recent without fuses burning..
It will work, just after everything is done use SX as you'd normally do, that is, if you don't mind losing your cart slot for lower FW.
I think someone mentioned a way to not lose your cart slot by changing something to point to the SX .dat
That's above my paygrade haha. While I was pretty active with information during the 3DS scene I haven't been paying as much attention to how everything works on the switch. Maybe due to the wait from switch release to yesterday following this guide. While I do want anything cool that releases...
Personally not worry about the ban chances, just find it interesting that going from 2.0 to 5.1 using the guide games still want you to install a system update. Just not sure what it would want to update to. In system is shows update available instead of the FW version as well.
Thanks :) just what I was looking for. I hate having to admit to piracy uses but will this affect anything homebrew down the line? I do still use it for a lot of that too.
So went from 2.0 to 5.1, booted once, booted into briccmii, said 2 efuses popped? then fixed cust_data. So IF I want to keep my cart slot but also want to boot into SX 1.3. Can I now use their payload and act like normal or how do I go about that. I personally have no use for my slot if I have...
Could be, I don't recall using an SD card until recently but that doesn't mean I hadn't. Didn't play it since launch day until binding of isaac came out then that was my 1.0 - 2.0 update.
My 2.0 switch works fine on my exFAT evo 256gb sd card, didn't install anything as far as I know. No issues running anything except HBL. Is this something which was removed by nintendo in a later fw? As I was to trying out how to update it manually since I thought low FW needed that but it just...
So, what I'm understanding is that in my case, I have a 2.0 switch, ran sxos 1.1 no game, then saw 1.2 drop and that's where i messed with it the most, no AutoRMC or custom payloads. I've also booted into OFW and played a cart as I wanted to make sure I was all good. If that is the case...
Thanks, I'll give that a go and use them remotely for now. Might see about getting a pair for the joycon side as well. Just odd why the left side was affected.
