    I think they were stuck since the game is built around the sword being directional. I find it odd that they didn't come up with multiple control schemes though (besides the one two they gave us), or at least some customization.

    100% agreed. But I'd be pretty Aok with the looks if it felt better to play, they had an amazing opportunity to bring in the advancements from the Breath of the Wild (controls/mechanics).... but they didn't. Going from BOTW to this feels... yucky lol.
