Hacking GameTDB - game information database + covers

Hi, it can happen for IDs with a single country region code like D,F,I,S,H. For the region code D the default cover region used to be "DE", but since "EN" is used as the default cover region for European games in the database (when there is only a single "EUR" version of the cover) using the...

Hacking GameTDB - game information database + covers

@deSSy2724: I just saw your message. We could add them if someone is interested in maintaining a Vita section (ideally more than just one person). We could already use some help for the existing sections. Thanks kokenhalliwell, I'm afraid we can't do that for Ōkami because it's the correct...

Tutorial USB Loader GX: How to fix Okami title problem with "Titles from GameTDB On"

Cyan is right. I have nothing to add so I will do it anyway. It's a matter of picking the more sensible between: - changing the title in the database to one that is not accurate, and annoy people that want to keep the correct title and sorting - leaving it as it is since it's quick to edit the...

Hacking GameTDB - game information database + covers

The EN and DE versions are meant for the localized titles or descriptions. For the txt version a German user can get German titles and English when there is no German title (or the original title depending on the region when using the first link on the page with "orig") For the xml version a...

Hacking GameTDB - game information database + covers

@fledge68 I didn't see your message until now! It should be able to download the FI cover for SKNP52 in usbloader gx or wiiflow by setting FI as the preferred language in the usxbloader gx or wiiflow configuration. But even with a different preferred language it should fall back to the EN cover...

Hacking GameTDB - game information database + covers

Thanks for the suggestion k7ra, we'll consider adding packs for 3DS covers. If it's added it would the M size, but all covers can easily be downloaded in any size if needed. It's easy to add in any program that could have a use for the database. If you're the author of a program don't hesitate...

Thanks shadowvz96, to add a page you can login then go here http://www.gametdb.com/Wii/AddGame or directly to the page http://www.gametdb.com/Wii/XDXG00 and click Edit. It's not necessary to create 3D covers or add transparency to discs, you can upload the full cover and it will generate the...

Hacking GameTDB - game information database + covers

Hello parisi, the 3D covers are generated when uploading normal covers (front or full cover). It's not necessary to upload them separately. For custom artwork there is a new feature on the site today :) Box Maker The Box Maker form can be used to create custom 3D covers and boxes. It's meant to...

Hacking GameTDB - game information database + covers

It was because it came as a freebie with R Racing, the PAL version didn't seem to have a sleeve so in a way R Racing was the only cover. Since it doesn't have a proper official cover I added a PAL cover now (using the front from the custom US cover adapted with a PEGI rating, back from the US...

KMCP06 is removed now (it will take some time for google to update). It's certainly the lack of cover, I made a change but it will take some time for google to update. If it didn't work I'll try different things.

It's SE, it should be SV to follow ISO 639 language codes but we used SE because it's also used for the cover region (and this way the codes for the Scandinavian countries in the database are the same as top level domains .se/.dk/.no/.fi)

Hacking GameTDB - game information database + covers

I've made a change to get rid of the wrong covers in search results but it might take some time to take effect. The pagination issue seems to be an old bug with google search, it actually does the same on google.com (but is rarely noticed when there are many pages). Edit: I made a change to...
