    Homebrew MAME for Wii question

I'm interesting in knowing which rom set should be used for MAMEWii as well. Doesn't seem to be on the MAME Wii page.

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

I'd start by checking SMART for the drive. I use 2 of the same drives (the old and newer gens) on two of my Wii's and it works fine over long periods.

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

Wow, I haven't been away long and it seems there's been a flurry of activity. As always @fledge68 , amazing work!!! Quick question re forwarders, as I'm updating to the "new" WFL which now runs in the old wiiflow directory. On the wiki page, under "Additional forwarders supplied by...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

Indeed, I was using 4.4.0 r1161. Changed to 4.5.0 r1162 and now the temporal disturbances have ceased. Thanks very much @fledge68 EDIT: Loving some of the new main options built in. Soooo much easier to tailor a few essentials without editing ini's. Fantastic stuff mate.

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

Not sure what would cause this, but does anyone have any ideas why the date and time would (although correct in the system menu on the Wii) show as the year 3566, in Skyward Sword saves? I've got old saves that showed correct dates, used from older WiiFlow versions. Just thought I'd ask to see...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

A big thanks to the dev for this. Decided to clean up my old Wii's and update everything as I was still using DiosMios and wanted some stream audio from Nintendont. All working well after updating using SetMiiUp, Wiiflow Lite and Nintendont. Your work is much appreciated Fledge!

Hacking SetMiiUp! From Stock to Latest Softmod in less then 5-10 minutes!

Just a quick note to say thanks for this tool. Made updating a few old hard and softmodded Wii's a lot easier. Great work!

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

@ PyroSpark - I had this too. See my previous posts in this thread. I'd also tried the IOS58 fix, but got into trouble installing it back on - lost Homebrew ability etc. I was probably doing it wrong but spent a hell of a lot of time trying to find a decent guide on how to re-install IOS58...

    Hacking DIOS MIOS (Lite)

FYI, I've had certain hacking problems some time back and the problem was rectified when I either took my wavebird receivers out, or it may have been the GC memory card. I can't remember which it was, but I posted about it here somewhere in GBAtemp. I'll search at some stage when I've got time...

    [Rumor] WiikeÜ ?

Wiinja did not hurt Wii, it's got to be said. Fairly childish reaction there.

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Correct, I am running it from a forwarder, but didn't think it was that old. I have 14b in my last installed list. Is this not the done thing these days? I never run it from HBC as I don't want my adventurous daughter accidentally starting something nasty in HBC. Thanks for the suggestions...

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Done. First up is generated using r886 with the 886 wiiflow.ini, unchanged from fresh install. Next up is from r886 using the r840 wiiflow.ini with all changes such as nand, directories, gamertag etc intact. Thanks for looking at it Fix94. :D

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

OK, re-installed IOS58 with WiiMod and it didn't return any issues. Even tried to overwrite with 6175 first then back to 6176, which seemed to work fine. Put on a clean Wiiflow r886, but still exactly the same problem. No text or game boxes in Wiiflow at all. All that can be seen are empty...

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

It looks good until my little girl plays her games and spoils it with Dora and Disney Princesses!!! Yeah, the error is when overwriting. Will try the uninstall tonight if I can manage to pry the kids off it. Find it pretty odd that others have the same issue recently though, like...

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

I have the same problem, which I posted some time back. Fix94 suggested it may have been something to do with my IOS58 and to try to re-install it, but I just get installation failures when I try that with IOS58 Installer. Further to this, some suggestions are to uninstall IOS58 then...
