Official MediCat USB - A Multiboot Linux USB for PC Repair

Well yes and no.... Medicat relies heavily on Ventoy now, so "easily create an iso" with all the menu does seem tricky (older iso relied on grub for the menu I think?). And I already have a ventoyusb stick with my own menus / structure, but adding "medicat" to it means either replacing all my...

Official MediCat USB - A Multiboot Linux USB for PC Repair

Hi, there isn't an ISO version of medicat anymore? Only the usb one using ventoy? I ask because that means I would have to dedicate an usb stick to this, otherwise each time I plug the stick on a windows, scans will detect some tools as malwares... Using the ISO version prevented that and I...

Official MediCat USB - A Multiboot Linux USB for PC Repair

Hi, thank you for sharing this project of yours! I'm trying to add a menu to be able to boot the LiveCD/Installation media from Manjaro (Arch Linux). I created a new menu for that and can get to that menu on boot. The relevant content of the new menu file: LABEL Manjaro MENU LABEL Boot...

Hacking [Release] TagMo : Tool for creating/editing Amiibos

Hi, I have a Nexus 7 (2012) (official rom in 5.1.1). Trying TagMo latest 2.3.4beta crashes everytime I try to write a tag. I tried with 3 tag (all NFC215 from NFCShop). Can I ask what ROM you used? And what version of TagMo? My nexus is not rooted... should it matter? I also tried TagMo with a...

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

Nice !!! Thank you. I had lost the binary of this version and thought it was not compatible with the romdat updates anymore. But it still is! In this version, there is the annoying bug that doesn't let Rominator read the right available space on my flash card (and then prevent me from using the...

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

Hi, got exactly the same messages on Gutsy 64bit. Here is the log I get in the terminal from where I launched rominator: ./rominatorbeta_102807 (rominatorbeta_102807:6941): Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon 'gtk-cancel' for stock: Impossible de charger le module de chargement d'images...

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

Hi, so far, not really. I tried running the latest (Gutsy). First you need to install the libstdc++5 library (sudo apt-get install libstdc++5) because it's a requirement to run rominator. Then Rominator launches, but there are still some problems (I have to send a detailed report to...

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

well, same here... Hankchill, do you have an idea why Rominator doesn't report correctly the available space in the linux version? Can you let us bypass this? (by letting us decalre the size of the Flash card by example?) Thank you. Typhoe

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

But Rominator managed to detect correctly the size of your flash card? On my system, I can't get it working...so I never succeded in using the trim option! I have a 2Go Flash card. For now, there is a few roms on it, and Nautilus reports 700Mo of free space. When I use Rominator, it tells me...

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

Hi, I'm also using the linux version on ubuntu. Please report if the available space on your flash card is correctly detected? On my system, I can only use Rominator to list/rename my roms, but can't use it to trim/copy to flash because of this problem... Regards, Typhoe

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

Bugs are to be expected from any application. You shouldn't be sorry if there are still bugs present in Rominator as for each bug one of us find, you usually release a new version in the week with the needed patch. It's us who should thank you for this really useful piece of software and...

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

Hum, an option to force Rominator to not try to detect the free space available on the flash card ? (as I already say, it doesn't work on linux -at least for me-) Thank you. Typhoe

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

Hi, well, that the same in linux. The card is usually "automounted" using its "label/drive name" as alias. Ex: In ubuntu, if you labeled your card "MicroSD_2Go", it will be mounted each time under the path: /media/MicroSD_2Go Regards, Typhoe

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

Thank you Hankchill! I think you only have a Mac? If you want, you can download a LiveCD of linux to try Rominator on it: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/downloadmirrors It won't touch your hard drive (understand, write on it) and you still be able to use Rominator to try to see the problem...

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

Thank you Can you also add an option to force Rominator not to try to detect the free space available on the Flash card. It doesn't work on my system. Rominator detects only "Flash: 1.0B" (when in reality, I still have 800Mo to go). Yet, it correctly reports I have 24 roms (1.0GB) on my...

Thing is , the videos work fine in the Edge Dev and Canary builds. But whatever the fix they made was, has never been pushed to Beta or Stable builds. Its been that way for as far back as I tested. Which was Edge 84. They are on 125 now.

@RedColoredStars, Yeah, and I was in quite a mood at that time. I would consider choosing Firefox or Opera instead, been using Firefox for over 7 years now than Chrome.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Tried contacting Nintendo to see if they can reach out to MS about it. But Nintendo said the videos are working fine. Without enough people saying no, they don't work fine, it will never get fixed.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
I have Firefox and used it for many years. But Edge runs noticible faster on my pc at both opening and loading pages.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
I don't think Nintendo will know anything about troubleshooting Edge. They mostly do technical support regarding their console family.

    Good one, Ken.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Right. But they could create a ticket that gets forwarded to the proper team. I think Nintendo would care that their videos aren't working on a major browser
