After doing this I can’t update to the most recent Rebug 4.82. I put it on the usb in the correct folders. PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP but the ps3 doesn’t give me the option to update via storage media. It immediately finds OFW 4.82. Even disconnected from the internet and with no usb in the option...
I’m just going to recap what’s going on. I recently installed Rebug using the new hack with OFW 4.82. After successfully doing that it says I’m on 4.81. I want to install the latest Rebug 4.82. So I downloaded the Rebug update and put it on my USB in folders PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP. Now on my...
I’m going have to go buy an official DualShock then. All I have is a third party controller and it won’t work in safe mode. Wanted to avoid this the cheapest ones are like £22!
No I only have it on the usb stick. Which even when not connected and the ps3 isn’t connected to the internet it still finds an update from somewhere completely bypassing the chance to choose media storage. I driving me nuts now
The folders in the usb are correct PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP but my problem is my ps3 won’t give me the option to “update via storage” it just goes straight to “update 4.82” even with the ether cable pulled out and the usb disconnected. Then if I do click on that it say corrupt. So I think it’s...
I did the recent hack that allowed me to install Rebug 4.81 onto a OFW 4.82. Now I’m trying to update to the latest CFW but the ps3 won’t give me the option to update from storage. It just says 4.82 found and then says it’s corrupt. I have no official controller so Safe Mode is out of the...
I know another thing I did which got me a black screen earlier is name the GameCube game file “game.iso” instead of “game.gcm” so the scriptor thought it was a wii game it was packaging instead of a GameCube game. Wasted 20 minutes of my life
There a tut on YouTube from a guy called mizumi. Can I suggest downloaded the files in the link for the sd card, so the nintendont release and the nincfg.bin file. Put the fresh ones on the sd card and try again. I used these files today and it’s worked. Only I haven’t tried Luigis mansion.
I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games
I finally modeled and 3d printed the new HDD cages I need in order to build my 2nd NAS. Original ones don't fit the mounting holes on the hdds I'm using. Been sitting on this project for over 2 years smfh
Also another 70TB going in the front mount drive bays of this server. 182tb raw, going to probably use a zfs RAID-Z3 for 3 parity disks, so 140TB usable
I could claw back 14tb by only doing 2 parity disks but I feel like with 13 disks in the RAID I'd be kind of pushing my luck on rebuild time if I encounter a disk failure
