I was about to edit my post but you responded, so. I just wanted to point out that you misspelled Saiyan on the bottom screen pre-battle info stuff (the one in the dungeon). I don't want to sound like a nitpicky jerk though so thanks for the hard work so far!
I'm looking around on the new update, and in the team menu, I can't help but feel like "Gloom" is a bit off for what is the leave menu button. I could be wrong though, maybe I'm supposed to be sad because I can't have all my friends on my team.
In my opinion, it's probably for the best to make the game playable before you worry about the story. I'd rather know what the heck I'm doing than why I'm doing it.
I just used the files from what exists of the UM2 translation under UMX's title id in luma, didn't really need to do anything super interesting or hard
For the hell of it, I decided to try out the UM2 translation in UMX to see how poorly it would go.
The answer is everything works perfectly fine, far as I can tell. Guess you've got a pretty good starting point if you decided to translate it!
If you do decide to translate UMX (and I hope you do, I quite appreciated the work you did for UM2), might I recommend getting all of the system/battle text done before the plot? I'd personally prefer to be able to better understand the game before knowing the silly plot.
