Translation [RELEASE] Trails in the Sky FC Evolution English Patch

In FC there's not much difference. If you have the DLC that's better because you can change the BGM type whenever you want in the settings menu. In SC my original BGM patch also replaces the OP movie with the original PC version's. The Evo version of the OP contains some spoilers and should be...

Thanks for this. It looks like the original thread was taken down but I received permission to create a new thread for it, here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-trails-in-the-sky-sc-evolution-english-patch.578407/

Hacking [RELEASE] Trails in the Sky SC Evolution English Patch

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC is a role-playing video game developed by Nihon Falcom, the second of a trilogy of games in the Trails in the Sky series. Initially released in Japan in 2006 for Microsoft Windows and 2007 for the PlayStation Portable, the game did not see an English...

Hacking [Release] The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki - Evolution Psvita

I think the biggest hurdle for Crossbell Evo is figuring out the scena formats and getting them working with EDDecompiler. I did this for the Sky Evo games (https://github.com/the-database/EDDecompiler), but the new op codes for Crossbell Evo seem to be more numerous and complex. I don't expect...

I recommend that you first backup your saves using Vita Savemgr: https://github.com/d3m3vilurr/vita-savemgr/releases Be very careful not to accidentally overwrite your existing saves instead of exporting your saves to a backup, I found the options easy to mix up the last time I used that...

Only speaking for myself but I don't have any plans to work on it. Working on the last 3 games burned me out.

Translation [RELEASE] Trails in the Sky FC Evolution English Patch

My original soundtrack patch also replaces the OP sequence with the original PSP/PC OP sequence, because the Evo OP contains several spoilers for the first half of the game. The soundtrack DLC won't replace the Evo OP. If you make sure to skip the OP when it plays, you should be fine.

If you did the optional original BGM patch and included the patched data0.psarc in the rePatch folder, then you can delete the original data0.psarc too, but otherwise you'll need to keep it. Basically you need at least one copy of data0.psarc somewhere on the memory card, either the original or...

If only the menus are in English, then it's likely that your patched eboot.bin is loading successfully but your patched data.psarc is not. Double check that you copied the patched files to exactly these locations: ux0:rePatch/PCSG00490/gamedata/data.psarc ux0:rePatch/PCSG00490/eboot.bin Note...

You should check two things. First make sure the latest rePatch version is installed and enabled in tai/config.txt. Some people that had multiple tai/config.txt files had issues getting it enabled, see previous posts in this thread. Second, make sure your patched files are in the correct...

Yes, the PC/PSP guides are still usable for the most part. You will just into minor differences once in a while, like different chest items. Unless you want to use walkthroughs for boss strategies on higher difficulties (on Normal, most bosses shouldn't be too hard), because the gameplay/balance...

Make sure you're running the latest version of rePatch, and also make sure that you enabled rePatch in tai/config.txt. Then double check that you copied the patched files to these locations and make sure none of the folder names have any typos: ux0:rePatch/PCSG00488/gamedata/data.psarc...

Sorry, but you probably won't see Crossbell Evolution from me. My condition was an official XSEED localization, which is practically confirmed to not happen now that NISA has rights for Cold Steel III. Each game would be around a year of effort for me, and it wouldn't be worth it for me to...

Yes, the cut content from Star Door 15 has been restored to match the content of the PC version. The required voice files and graphics already existed in the game files, but it was still a lot of work to create the necessary script file to make it all work. But it was worth it. I'm glad you...

If you changed out the repatch version, you need to make sure to update your ux0:tai/config.txt file. There should be a line that says ux0:tai/repatch_4.skprx, change it to ux0:tai/repatch.skprx (assuming that's where you put repatch 3.0).
