Im a little under the dark for a while, is boot9 the new 14.0 method? ive been under 11.3 because of the NTR problems, but i havent been hit with the ban yet. I dont play Pokemon or Echoes...been mostly Monster Hunter only

Hacking NTR recording: can't get audio through jack (can get video just fine)

To also clarify a few steps, make sure it's the Blue audio port from your PC and it will be stated under Line in from your Recording devices, on it's properties have the option "Listen to this device" on. should be good to go after that

Hacking NTR 3.4 Screen Recorder Test Thread

So true the Memory patch will work but consider this for solo play or shiny hunt related scenarios, as going online simply from the festival mode just like oras/xy did also restores the screen recording, only downside leaving festival immediately disconnects and makes the wireless feature...

Hacking NTR 3.4 Screen Recorder Test Thread

Is Pokemon Sun and Moon's Ram usage requirement just too much for the Screen Capture Feature to keep up? no matter the settings or adjutments, the disconnects and dropped frames seem to really be noticeable, just like Xenoblade 3D

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

For games that came with download codes or simply digital titles bought from the eshop, while im aware save data is rather a possible but time consuming process, is it possible to "dump" those games as back ups? i cant seem to always find the actual files when im copying data from an sd card to...

    Hacking BootNTR New Version Research

most of 2ds mario kart bundles are at least the 6.0 firmware as I cant imagine them always restocking them with updated consoles since they always have MK7 bundled in them, although i wouldnt specifically go to gamestop as a sure thing, id go with walmart or target instead.

    Hacking BootNTR problems?

Im not sure if the same applies for having to go online for the NTR to go into effect, but i rather be patient for my physical copy to see whats up

    Hacking BootNTR New Version Research

I remember back when OFW update 11 was out and the only way to use NTR at the time was to use the Dev build of Luma and the payload files of previous cfw's , are those still required for future updates or should we still keep those for the "just in case" scenarios?

Hacking NTRCFW 3.4 Preview1(Support video output on New 3DS)

For the most part at least from my view is closing the 3ds, or exiting the current game to play a new one does infact crash the 3DS itself to force a reboot, but its really a small price to pay Edit: Ninja'd by Neko .-.

Hacking After installing A9HL on 4 differnt 3DS', I dont see why people are scared to do it

I'll admit despite reading guides, I felt like I needed at least a few steps or assistance here and there, and I really got some directions on what to do. Without the kind help, Don't think I would have been able to a9hl update any of my 3ds's without losing one of them. So thanks for the...

Hacking NTRCFW 3.4 Preview1(Support video output on New 3DS)

OBS and AMD processors have had a history of not working well together, but that was years back...don't know if the situation still applies, since most is considered 6-8 core but works alot more differently than it intends to

Hacking NTRCFW 3.4 Preview1(Support video output on New 3DS)

if it persists when obs starts to run and stream, it could be the processor just cant take the task, usually this is something youd want a Quad Core CPU to handle the task (though you COULD get away with an overclocked Dual Core Processor like the G3258, but thats still pushing it) Other than...

https://www.twitch.tv/lxrainfallxl/v/90193688 Late to the party but wanted to give it a try myself while i repair the internal capture board. Upload Speed: .9 MB Intel Core Xeon E3-1231-V3 GPU: Nvidia GTX 960 Not the greatest, but a nice alternative

Hardware New 3DSXL Katsukity's USB Port?

Ehhh, Loopy would have been my primary choice if he already didnt say he rather not deal with their boards anymore and I understand his reason. It's not really that the repair job is difficult, just finding the actual part it at least resembles to that's the problem I've already desoldered and...

Hardware New 3DSXL Katsukity's USB Port?

i do use NTR to stream and it relatively is a nice alternative, i just dont like seeing a 300 dollar compoment go to waste and want to hope to salvage ....in which Katsukity charges another 100 for the repair that will not only takes 45 years to arrive but fail again. I do appreciate the...

Hardware New 3DSXL Katsukity's USB Port?

I already tried asking the company in which one question turned into 2 week responses of 20 different answers that has no relevance to what i was asking...Figured maybe someone knew here. It is no speculation that Katsukity is infamous for supplying low grade micro usb ports, to trick the...

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

One thing I noticed in Luma 3ds was the CPU Overclock options that the N3DS is capable of, I remember in old PSP cfw's this option was available for improved performance at the cost of more battery and possible crash/bricking. Would this still apply to the N3DS if guides including Pla's A9HL...

the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Interesting lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think I watched a video where two games at 4K where eating just over 16GB of RAM and it's the one case where the 7900XT and XTX pulled ahead (minus RTX of course)
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
cyberpunk at 4k without DLSS/fidelityfx *might* exceed 12gb
    +1
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but that game barely runs at native 4k
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it was some newer games and probably poorly optimized PS4 or PS5 ports
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
they definitely will age better but i feel dlss might outweigh that since it looks about as good as native resolution and much less demanding
    +1
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I played Cyberpunk on my old 2080 Ti it sucked lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They have FSR or whatever it's called and yeah it's still not great
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
so AMD seem to finally be starting to take AI seriously
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Oh yeah those new 8000 CPUs have AI cores built in that's interesting
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe they plan on offloading to the CPU?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Would be kinda cool to have the CPU and GPU working in random more
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Tandem even
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
Have you ever been beaten by a wet spaghetti noodle by your girlfriend because she has a twin sister, and you got confused and fucked her dad?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
