    Both drives are fine, I burn DVDs all the time without issue (PC drive) and normal games work fine (PS2 drive) so I doubt it's the drive itself. On a different note, I just borrowed an old laptop and managed to write at 8x using the burner on that, but still no luck, just stuck at Initialising CD.
