    I think the only difference between 3.65 and 3.60 is that some really old homebrew won't work on 3.65. You can't install 3.60 on some newer vitas though, so the guide now recommends 3.65.

    You will need to buy a DS game from the eShop if you want your CFW to load immediately after you boot the console. If you're happy with exploiting through the browser every time you restart the console, you don't need to buy a DS game.
