Hacking Final Fantasy X HD Save Editor PS3

This one posted here worked for me, it's fairly simple and painless to use http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=93827

ROM Hack Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker - Obtain Durarara Characters (By Save Editing)

Has anyone else had issues with JSKM freezing and not exporting their save properly when trying to select DS2:RB? It doesn't do it for my other games, so I'm not sure what the source issue is.

ROM Hack GBA VC - Save Extration?

Agbsave9, Decrypt9, and Hourglass9 can all be used to export gba VC saves, though the first one is for the most part depreciated. After exporting the save you should be able to import it into VBA as a battery file and monkey around with it how you like (such as, say, using all items cheats or...

ROM Hack Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King NTR Plugin

That's what I thought at first, but my other items didn't change count and even trying it on a fresh save did nothing. Either there's a button activator that I've missed or it seems to be bugged.

Tried that, no change. It appears more specific instruction is required.

Homebrew Luma broke my HBL, suggestions?

Okay, got it figured out, the problem was the boot.3dsx file. Using the one from luma installation guide doesn't work with hbl, so I had to re-replace the file it told me to overwrite in the first place XD.

Homebrew Luma broke my HBL, suggestions?

Hm, not working in rxtools mode either now... could the boot.3dsx file be the issue? that's the only thing I had to overwrite when switching over, but I'm not sure why that'd be the issue

Homebrew Luma broke my HBL, suggestions?

I was already on 11.1 on rxtools when it was working, so I'm fairly certain it works on 11.1. And I already tried installing the latest version of the cia, didn't help either.

I am using the cia, it's failing to boot is the problem

Homebrew Luma broke my HBL, suggestions?

Hello! I recently switched over from rxtools to Luma since everyone and their mother said it was a good idea (and since rxtools hasn't been upgraded since I got into homebrew, I'd have to agree), but now the HBL doesn't work for me. It gets through all the boot up screens, but then hangs on a...

ROM Hack [Release] Rhydon Save Editor (Pokemon RBY Save Editor)

This looks like it'll be better than the other save editors that are either clunky, glitchy, or both. That said, it doesn't recognize the save file I exported from the vc release as a valid file, so is there a converter I have to run it through to get it to work? The file itself should work as...

Why Are Modern RPG's & the Fanbase So Soft?

In their defense, you actually can invoke the powers of Satan in-game. It's still an over-reaction, but at least the outcry had a logical start point, unlike pokemon who got flak for having stars on their trading cards. And to be honest, I find it harder to find good rpgs that don't have some...

Gaming Pokemon Yellow 3DS and emulator saves

We must be trying different versions of Pokemon Editor then, as it would've deleted all my boxed mons had I saved that file. Pikasave isn't exactly perfect either (it can't make new items worth a hoot), but it was better than having to restock my boxes everytime I wanted to change some ivs or...

Gaming Pokemon Yellow 3DS and emulator saves

If you have the proper tools and having everything formatted correctly it should be possible. You can edit them in pikahex without much issue, so the saves themselves are probably identical structure-wise. The real issue so far is that none of the current homebrew save extractors can break...

Gaming Where to start with Pokemon?

As someone who started with gen 1 and played all the way through, I can safely say gen 1 was really pretty terrible compared to later entries. The plot is bare bones, you play inventory management puzzles, and the game never tells you what any of the moves do. Gen 2 was an improvement over...

ROM Hack [Request] Bravely Second Editor

From what I've read, you can't get weapons and armor from the village this time around, so it's less of an unbalancer apparently

ROM Hack [Request] Bravely Second Editor

It should probably be noted that the offset location for villagers has already been found, so anyone actually capable of dumping their save can easily get 999 villagers: https://gbatemp.net/threads/bravely-second-999-villagers.416254/

ROM Hack [Request] Bravely Second Editor

I can definitely understand the want for a villager editor/increaser, trying to unlock everything in the village can take weeks or even months depending on how often you just leave the system in sleep mode. It's not even that much of a gamebreaker, since everything purchasable is at regular...
