    Short question: I‘m on a 1.0 Switch, so I don‘t need a jig to enter the rcm mode. If I update with this guide do I need a jig to enter rcm mode?

    You don't need a Premium Account. Just try redownloading the file or use an other download manager. I prefer jdownloader.

    Best scenario is the Switch gets in the First year hacked because then there will be a big Hardware Sale. More Hardware = more games.
