Gaming Would splatoon be fun with a WiiMote ?

How would you see the screen if you need to turn? EDIT: Derp, that's a VR headset. Still doesn't really fix the fact that it would be hard to shoot without you facing a sensor bar.

Tutorial How to delete/uninstall the News Channel/Forcast Channel completely on the Wii Menu

I don't seem to see the specific codes you mentioned in ATD DB. Any suggestions? Perhaps the channel is listed under another code?

Gaming How can i update a game through USB Loader GX

So yeah, those are common symptoms of not having the patch applied to your system. If nothing happens, then it's more than likely due to the fact that you're using an ntsc game on a pal wii. Try changing copies perhaps? EDIT: and it's not because there aren't any people in my experience there...

    Hacking Wii hacking Problem

Maybe it's .iso/drive corruption? Try adding a fresh .iso file onto the HDD again and re-configuring your settings.

Hope I'm not intruding, but if you want to keep further soft modding I'd recommend this really helpful guide, as it's always current for the latest firmware (not always the case for YouTube): https://sites.google.com/site/completesg/

Gaming How can i update a game through USB Loader GX

Hey, someone actually posted a similar problem; to get the patch; follow the instructions below: Nintendo Servers: You've said your game wasn't patched, which means your Wii hasn't downloaded the correct patch to connect to the COD servers after the official Nintendo Wi-Fi shutdown. To download...

    Misc Demonware servers

Upon doing some research this could mean two things: 1. You have been banned from MW3 Wii or 2: The request to connect to Nintendo servers has not been successful (which is the most probable answer as OP has said his game was not patched) Both have their own solutions as follows: Ban: If...

Hardware Is There a Way to Safely Unmount USB Devices Before You Power Off Your Wii?

Thanks a lot dude! That was really helpful! I guess I'll eventually try to get FAT32 to work. I've tried it before, but none of the games read or wrote. I think there was corruption exporting the files for the drive. Anyway, thanks again!

Hardware Is There a Way to Safely Unmount USB Devices Before You Power Off Your Wii?

Wow. I didn't know that games saves were associated to the iso... Wii and GameCube. Does this mean if I ever play gc isos that the game save will just save on the hdd? Because I believe my wii games have gamesaves on my wii save memory and don't write anything to the external hdd other than...

Hardware Is There a Way to Safely Unmount USB Devices Before You Power Off Your Wii?

Thanks for the help. Just a quick question, what do you mean by "same for the game saves"? And I assume that nothing would be writing to the HDD if the HDD was being read for playing an iso? Thanks :)

Hardware Is There a Way to Safely Unmount USB Devices Before You Power Off Your Wii?

Hey guys, So pretty much after playing a bit of games off of my external 1tb HDD, that I've noticed my external drive screeching upon power off on my wii (or just losing a power source in general) And this seems to only randomly happen once in a while. To prolong my HDD and to prevent...

Misc Wiimmfi has soo many hackers

I don't encounter many hackers while playing, and judging by the recent bans on the Wiimmfi page, hackers are usually taken care of pretty efficiently. I suppose you encountered something fairly rare in my opinion. I believe Wiimmfi also has a system where is requires you to wait 7 days before...

Hacking Homebrew: Can I use my USB for USB Loader GX and play isos with it at the same time?

I believe my post was unclear, my reference to the WBFS file method (With .wbfs file type) was attempting to refer to the FAT32 Games Folder method.

Homebrew Recording video with NES/SNES emulator?

I agree, the quality would be unfavorable. Actually many of the old cameras made have these ports, and you can buy many second hand for quite cheap..Once again not favorable in terms of quality, however still viable. So I suppose if you have an old one lying around and you don't want to dish...

Homebrew Recording video with NES/SNES emulator?

Alternatively you can use a camera with an AV in jack and a TV with an AV out jack to record your screen, not as powerful as a capture card, however still viable.

Hacking Homebrew: Can I use my USB for USB Loader GX and play isos with it at the same time?

Do you mean use the USB to hold the app and the game at the same time? I believe so, however I don't think it's possible if you have the drive formatted in WBFS, being that you can't put folders onto an Windows-inaccessible drive. So I believe you have to use the WBFS file method...I've heard of...
