    Psn games are pbp. Extract your pbp or convert to iso with a utility (i don t remember the name, you can easily find that in google) Then patch the iso with umdgen or whatever, maybe there is a patcher. Then you copy your new iso to the ISO folder, you don t need your pbp anymore, nor the license.

    I use chds for dreamcast and everything else (where supported), maybe you are using an old chdman or your bins are not valid. Chd is lossless, you get what you had, so something is wrong in your bins or chdman. Latest version is v5.
