    follow my guide on page 16 and use v1.61 of the tool not the new ones. i had fits using v1.71 on my new 2dsxl with a 400gb micro sd card. until i used v1.61 and BAM!!!! worked on first try

    have the mai dump and have patched the data files fine but the 1.01 eboot.bin file is not patching tried everything if any kind soul could PM their patched eboot.bin file that would end my pain thanks

    it was never on custom firmware. only official firmware.

    Ok. If not WBFS Manager, then what should I use? After adding games with it, what should I do then? If the game doesn't work, then what should I do to fix it? I am asking briefly... I am a noob. I am not as great as you guys :D WiiBackupManager-CISO-fix-exe this is the thing i use.

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
