Monster Hunter Generations Save Data Transfer App after nintendo servers will be gone

Didn't dasding already make a homebrew tool for this? (I could be mistaken)

Anyone tried converting their Red Dead Redemption 1 360/PS3 save over to Switch?

After dumping my 360 save, I've been playing around with the Switch save files to see if there's a way to copy over my progress. The save file naming seems to be exactly the same and as far as I can tell, the save files are the exact same size (135,168 bytes). I should note that I've been...

Hacking Homebrew "Failed to apply 1 FIRM patch(es). Press any button to shutdown."

Sorry, to clarify a little more: now the issue is, when I boot up the 3DS, as soon as it reaches the home screen, the error of "MicroSD could not not be detected" pops up, and the homescreen is blank except for some installed DSi and NDS forwarders (which I believe are not stored on the SD card...

Hacking Homebrew "Failed to apply 1 FIRM patch(es). Press any button to shutdown."

D'oh. Thanks guys. I reformatted the card as FAT32 with 32KB clusters, and the new issue I have is that the console boots not recognizing the card (so the home view is just blank with no themes or titles, etc). Going to try reformatting again but this time with 64KB clusters. Edit: for...

Hacking Homebrew "Failed to apply 1 FIRM patch(es). Press any button to shutdown."

I've done some extensive searches on this online and on this website but have not found a definitive solution. Context: my new 3DS was using a 256GB card. I'm moving cards around and decided to switch back to an older 128GB card, which to my knowledge is working fine. After formatting the 128GB...

Hardware New 3DS cannot detect new microSD card formatted as FAT32

Thanks for the quick response! I've followed all the instructions (including the H2testw), the microSD is perfectly fine according to the test, however I tested the card on the 3DS using the test setup and while I had no issue with shuffling themes, 2/4 of the GBA injects I tested did have the...

Hardware New 3DS cannot detect new microSD card formatted as FAT32

Regarding the quadruple format, @TurdPooCharger mentions to format with 32KB cluster in all of the formatting steps... would it make a difference if I formatted as 64KB instead? I've heard 64KB runs faster on 256GB cards.

Hardware New 3DS cannot detect new microSD card formatted as FAT32

I recently upgraded from a Sandisk 128 GB to a Sandisk 256 GB. I formatted the 256 as FAT32 with 64 KB cluster size, and then successfully copied all data from the old SD card to the new one. I'm pretty sure I followed all the steps I'm supposed to, but after inserting it into the system, I get...

ROM Hack [WIP] Final Fantasy (eShop) Translation.

Yeah, I did notice that (I don't know how to read katakana but I'm aware of its syllable structure). With as many Japanese games I play I may as well grow up and memorize it, especially since it's not much. :)

ROM Hack [WIP] Final Fantasy (eShop) Translation.

Seeing as how this translation is probably dead in the water, I decided to play through the game untranslated - surprisingly easy to do, since it's a fairly simple RPG. The only thing I was having trouble with was understanding the white/black magic spells, so using the Final Fantasy Wiki's...

    Homebrew SNES9x for Old 3DS

Have you encountered a battle yet? The game was working fine for me too, up until the first battle, which is where the bad flickering occurred.

    Homebrew SNES9x for Old 3DS

Huh... Secret of Mana's audio is mostly fine now, for some reason (there's still a weird clicking sound sometimes but it's ignorable... sort of). I haven't changed any settings. I did try the Blargsnes audio core, but the problem persisted. I just booted it up and it works fine now for some...

    Homebrew SNES9x for Old 3DS

(Edit: forgot to mention I’m on the latest version, I believe 1.30) Couple game compatibility questions - 1) Secret of Mana - extremely bad sound problems with the music (lots of screeching)... is this a known problem and if so is there a workaround? 2) G.O.D.: Mezameyo to Yobu Koe ga Kikoe -...

Homebrew nds-bootstrap loader: Run commercial NDS backups from an SD Card

I think I've fixed the issue, although I'm not exactly sure how... Nope, no cheats enabled for Solatorobo. So what I ended up doing was forcing the boot mode to be "DS Mode" (instead of "Default", which I assume boots DSi mode for Solatorobo). After I did this, I had no crashing issues...

Homebrew nds-bootstrap loader: Run commercial NDS backups from an SD Card

I have not, I'll try that - but this game has AP checks so wouldn't it just freeze? (I guess maybe mine wouldn't because I've already saved past the AP block?) It's just weird because I've had zero issues with the game up to this point.

Homebrew nds-bootstrap loader: Run commercial NDS backups from an SD Card

Has anyone played through Solatorobo on this? I'm getting random crashes when playing the game - I've been able to reproduce the crashes during specific moments in the game, so I'm wondering if people have had the same problems (and yes it's AP patched). For example, I get a crash whenever I...

Homebrew [DISCUSSION] New Super Ultimate Injector (NSUI)

So this injector uses an outdated version of snes9x... anybody know if there's some way we can update this injection software with the latest version of snes9x (currently 1.30)? Also to enable more options, such as button mapping (personally I use ZR for fast forwarding)?
