Maybe, but then why isn't Ryujinx also getting sued? Could be that Nintendo hasn't gotten around to them I guess but the fact that what Bunnei said was brought up twice in the suit leads me to believe it's particularly relevant.
The document brings up how Bunnei admitted that people who use Yuzu pirate the keys. That's probably the catalyst for this whole thing and will likely be the biggest point of contention. It's the silent agreement that everybody who uses emulators does so using their own dumped files, so to have...
Not sure what to gather from these numbers. Netflix lost some million subscribers earlier but they still have over 200 million and every other service keeps gaining subscribers. I guess those one million subscribers started pirating and boosted these figures but it seems likely something else is...
This is an outrage, I was literally just about to dig up my Wii and redownload Kirby's Adventure for the first time in 10 years. Guess I will do the thing I clearly already know how to do and likely already was doing anyway. But this time I'm doing it in protest! Heh, yeah, I'm something of a...
No company has ever really cared if some rando pirates their stuff. They only care if you're distributing/advertising these warez or if you're a business. This law is specifically meant for businesses to allow them to keep using productivity software, any piracy of entertainment products is...
Good. Not so much for any monetary damage they caused Nintendo or other developers but because of their piggybacking off of work from open source developers without so much as giving credit, the latter of which get nothing but shit from "wonderful" communities because they don't prioritize...
But for real this was more for apps than game development and it's easy to install RA on retail, no need for whitelisting.
And OtherOS was removed after geohotz famous exploit was already released, he didn't hack it in retaliation as many believe. That was failoverflow who let's be honest...
xxx_I_pWn_u_xxx: "You can't revoke access to a 'dev mode' feature and claim it's meant only for developers and not just playing emulators! How else am I supposed to play Super Metroid?!11 I'm not buying an Xbox now and while I'm definitely not a pirate I hope you get hacked!"
Microsoft: "I...
They targeted those close to them. Those close to Near started blaming them for the harassment.
Edit: I was mistaken earlier about one of Near's friend taking their own life, they just stopped talking to them.
You could buy this for the rare moments you want to lure a non-gamer friend into a video game...or you could fire up Clubhouse Games, Mario Kart, or just open up a physical deck of cards.
This whole thing always seemed like a scheme to gather funds from investors, string them along for a few...
US: "If only there were some way to deal with this thing."
Other countries: "There is! We have drastically lowered infection rates. All we had to do was lockdown for a few weeks and - "
US: "Oh well, I guess there's nothing left to do but down random pills and hope for the best."

To clarify a few things
1) These leaks happened years ago and are only now being drip fed into the public
2) It's a combination of things stolen from Nintendo content servers and a third party partner they collaborated with when making their hardware (BroadOn)
3) One of the people responsible...
Terrible idea. Would pretty much be the end of places like GOG too.
But sure, let it happen in the name of consumer rights. Just don't be surprised or complain when the positives that "oppressive" systems like we have now are gone or that they've been replaced with a system that's even worse.
Modding a Wii is very safe and very easy and Nintendo has long since stopped updating the firmware.
There are plenty of guides and programs available that will walk you through the process. Just be sure to follow the steps and not skip any of them.
Japan still censors the hell out of violent content though.
But it's not anime tiddies (haha I said the funny thing) so nobody actually cares about that kind of censorship.
Also, changing the age of 15 year olds, because even though they don't care about that kind of thing it's VERY important...
Some of my favorite games have gotten average reviews, some of my most meh experiences have gotten heaps of praise.
So lately, I only look at reviews to find out if a game is total broken trash.
Makes sense, Microsoft is a major player in Cloud tech.
You want your minds blown further, chances are many Sony studios use Microsoft products (Office, Windows, Visual Studio, etc.). And I bet somebody at Microsoft used a Sony branded product. Truly, this means Halo on PS5 and Uncharted on Xbox.
I finally modeled and 3d printed the new HDD cages I need in order to build my 2nd NAS. Original ones don't fit the mounting holes on the hdds I'm using. Been sitting on this project for over 2 years smfh
Also another 70TB going in the front mount drive bays of this server. 182tb raw, going to probably use a zfs RAID-Z3 for 3 parity disks, so 140TB usable
I could claw back 14tb by only doing 2 parity disks but I feel like with 13 disks in the RAID I'd be kind of pushing my luck on rebuild time if I encounter a disk failure
