So I've been using the FE Fates HD textures mod and encountered strange behaviour in Citra. The mod itself uses 4x upscaled textures and it seems that Citra cannot properly downscale them when using a lower than 4x render resolution. In other words: the textures disappear in lower than 4x...
Thanks, the tool worked like a charm. However one question: I have an uncensored, but English dubbed backup. Can I undub patch it with my JP backup or do I need a "clean" US version.
Also: in the initial post OP said that the EU version is preferable, does the US version really cause issues...
What do I do if I have both backups as WUD files? Is there a way to unpack the WUD for the purpose of patching it and repacking it again to play on CEMU?
Personally I would also prefer to have Ao no Kiseki Evo in the same state as Zero Evo is now (which is perfectly fine to me, I don't need the extra side quests) instead of seeing Zero to be perfected first.
Reason being: NISA could always decide to C&D the project. And then we wouldn't even...
*shrug* That doesn't answer my question. Pray tell, do these characters in the game refer to everyone they meet and don't know as they/them before getting to know them? If the answer is no, then what makes Yuzuriha so special. Does she have some smell? A "they/them" aura the party can see? Did...
The problem is that by using "they/them" they are explicitly focusing on identity. Again: when a normal person in real life sees what is clearly a woman or girl the expected reaction is to say "she." The "they/them" sticks out like a sore thumb when used directly in front of a female looking...
Again, if they see a character who clearly looks feminine the normal approach is to call her "she." That's what a normal person who is not on Twitter 24/7 would do in real life when meeting a woman/girl you have never seen before. If the story made the whole non binary thing an official theme of...
I have not once seen a localization where they/them is used for what clearly looks like a female character. Literally always when a character looks like a girl but the script doesn't specify it (which is often due to the nature of Japanese language) "she" is used. There are countless characters...
Due to the nature of the Japanese language terms like 彼女 are oftentimes omitted, but that doesn't mean that it is deliberately done to hint at some non binary identity, it's just how Japanese is used. That's why most MTLs f*ck up he or she. Moreover: Most localizations only use "they" if a...
Indeed. I don't see the reason for the hostility. If people are fine with the localization changes it's their prerogative, but that doesn't change the fact that there are as many who'd love to have a de-localization patch.
Aside from the names I'd rather see Yuzuriha nor referred to as they as...
With what NISA pulled with the other team I wonder if anyone has the balls to do it. XD
I still don't quite understand the logic behind how a simple English patch for the Chinese version infringes their copyright, but oh well... It should have been CLE not NISA sending out the cease and desist...
