Hacking Mother 3 keeps freezing on my EZ-Flash IV

So, first EZ4 I bought actually had a really bad problem with the NOR. It would degrade/corrupt overtime after a write. I found out about this when writing PocketNES to NOR, and the sprites would pop up as garbled garbage when starting an NES game. It would be garbled and after a certain amount...

Hacking M3 Perfect Black Screen fix

It could actually be that the SRAM data got corrupted and removing the battery caused it to be lost, so your SRAM was cleared to stop glitching to a black screen. There was a time when the image viewer caused my M3 not to boot properly, so I reflashed it and it worked fine. I think reflashing...

Android snes9x ex+: Why does a vetran emulator have garbage input support?

I've noticed something with snes9x. I was really hyped to download it because I had the computer version and I thought an android version would mean, hey, this has to be the best emulator because it's a veteran of an emulator. Everything is flawless, but after going back to action intense...

Any portable android devices that can emulate n64?

My shitty gophone can emulate it pretty decently. There's some slowdowns on certain games but that's it. You really don't need to go searching for a holy grail if a phone, you just need to get a decent one.

Wii U is by far the worst selling Nintendo console of all time

The concept of having moldable buttons on a controller based on the game's program is cool, but everyone knows, using the touch screen as a gaming controller is FUCKING garbage. There's a reason why I just bought a gamepad for my android.

Mame: 720, anyone know how to enable continues?

I have no clue if any Mame users use this forums, but I might as well try. I recall 720 having continues, but I'm getting instant game over after 1 death. Is there any way to enable continues?

Gaming AGS-001 Screen/Light Assembly into OG GBA MOD

Well I've gotten rid of those parts and it still didn't fit, so I kept digging into the shell with a file. It helped a lot but there's still a bit of work to be done. I removed the foam on the back of the screen assembly, as well as even filed down the plastic casing of the screen assembly, but...

Gaming AGS-001 Screen/Light Assembly into OG GBA MOD

What did you guys do to get the frontlight assembly to fit in right? I've been grinding the back of where the screen sits with a file, is there anything else I need to do?

Hacking Fixing lifted copper pad on flash cart

Just an informative update on this thread's situation. I've had to do tricks over and over to try to get a good connection on the battery. Eventually it would disconnect over time though. The trace was too small to solder to without the solder breaking off. I've tried just having the 2 points...

    Hardware GBA Backlight! (AGB-001)

The foam has been pealed off. Since the previous post, I have shaved a lot of plastic off both the frontlight assembly and the place in the case where the screen sits with a file. So far, it's sitting WAY better, but it's still not screwing down all the way. Pressing buttons would show...

    Hardware GBA Backlight! (AGB-001)

So I got a 40 to 32 pin adapter, and it works great, but the case won't sit flush and there's too much pressure on the screen? The adapter is too thick. What are some things I can do to make the assembly fit together? I trimmed away a lot of the plastic in the way but it seems like it's still...

Hardware Best accessory to protect from scratches in pocket? (bags/cases/etc)

I put a layer of clear packaging tape over the top of the case and it seems to help guard against scratches from friction. Barely visible and it seems great so far. If anyone still has suggestions, do tell.

Hardware Best accessory to protect from scratches in pocket? (bags/cases/etc)

So I've had an SP that I've spiffed up and it has the wonderful NES edition case with an AGS101 screen. What is the best option for me to carry this around my pocket without the case getting extremely worn down? I'm talking about this through experience, as I bring it to work for when I have...

I remember that product. Mega memory card for gameboy I do believe the gameshark v3 also can do savestates.

    Hardware GBA Backlight! (AGB-001)

Think I'll do this with a frontlit version. I got an AGS-101 off ebay for cheap because the case was broken to shit but the hardware was perfect, and put that into an NES edition GBA SP and I'm loving it. It'd be nice to have a lit first gen GBA too.

ROM Hack Best Earthbound Mother 2 English patch?

Looks like the translation I found was WIP by one person, who seems to have not really updated in a while now. Damn. I just remembered that there was Mother 1+2 today so I wanted to check. I like how small the GBA is so I prefer playing emulation on it opposed to a DS or a phone.

ROM Hack Best Earthbound Mother 2 English patch?

I see there's multiple patches floating around for 1+2, and I'm searching specifically for Mother 2. Does anyone know if there's a complete translation out there?
