    Yeah, the dang thing automatic checks for updates as soon as your connected to the internet, like it or not. Then if it finds one, you cant do jack till you update it.

    like I said, This is the new portal for WiiU. It will not work with the Wii system. Just the WiiU. I have tried all the cios including the proper 223. Just wanted everyone to know that it wont cross platform anymore.

    In case anybody decides to give it a shot... I have Skylander Giant for WiiU with the WiiU portal. I was not able to get the portal to work with the original Wii. Tried different loaders and Cios's to no avail. Apparently the portal is not cross platform.

    You should have a file named TTmenu.dat in the root of the sd. It should be DSCovered.nds renamed to TTmenu.dat At least you should have the DSCovered.nds in the root. _DS_MENU_.dat only works on r4 carts. TTmenu.dat is the file that boots on start up of the DS even if it is some other .nds...

    3 questions Are you using official firmware or unofficial? Is it the TTDSi? (i is important) Have you confirmed that it is a real TTDS or a cloan/fake? You may be using a fake with a firmware that has a fake killer imbedded. It will fry the cart. Try using a real ds cartridge to confirm.
