hi pokeman, TVC = Tatsunoko VS Capcom I haven't played Brawl online but I'll try it out soon. Post your FC for CoDMWR let's play some time. Monster Hunter Tri is hard at first but you'll get better with practice, I suggest you play using a classic controller for the best control options.

I'll try to play online later when I get home around 1130PM. I'll add you on my buddy list. I don't know what the issue is with TVC because I have a fairly good PLDT connection, standard 1k plan too up to 1mbps. I connect via router though, that might be what's causing problems because I keep...

@kalantiaw - Thanks for the info! I've been playing TVC, MH3 and CoDMWR online and no problems so far. My only issue is that input lag in TVC makes it really hard for me to play properly. Everything else is great. I'll post my FC here soon, I just need to finish Read Dead Redemption on my 360...

Hi guys, I have a few questions about my Wii. I've remodified my console due to suggestions from other GBAtemp users and all is well. (My console was bought already soft modified with a wiiflow channel and NO homebrew channel and the region/language has been changed from korea to US). All of...

    Misc pinoy wii gamers!!!

Hi guys, I want to play MH3 and Tatsunoko VS Capcom online too, but I'm afraid that doing so will brick my region changed Korean wii (soft modified). Hacking HBC not showing in Wii menu

Thanks mate! I'll try it out later once I get home. Regarding Bootmii though, is that a separate application or is it part of the HBC? From what I've read Bootmii creates a backup of your Wii so that in case it's bricked you can restore it right? I believe the some Wiiware games can brick your...

Hacking HBC not showing in Wii menu

Hi, I bought a Wii yesterday and it came preinstalled with Wiiflow, but it doesn't have the homebrew channel on the channels list. Do I need to install it manually, and if so is it safe or is there a chance that I'll brick my console? One more thing, what do I need to do to play Wiiware games...

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    How are you doing?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
