I was looking over the Bob's Game Wikipedia page and noticed that it listed the nD as only $10. I had never heard of Robert Pelloni until now, he seems to cause a lot of trouble.
EDIT: Oh, I guess it lists the nD as *possibly* $10 on the nD homepage as well. Sold at cost.
Fortunately a family member has a DSL so I was able to use that to update without any problems. It's a workaround, but it works. Thanks for the help regardless.
Every time I try to run the update on my DSi it loads saying the update was cancelled.
Sounds like the same issue you had Rydian, but I've tried blowing in the slots a couple times and nothing has changed for me.
I've fixed a couple 'broken' DS L and R buttons by just blowing. Just put my lips to the side of the button and give a couple good strong quick blows. It seems the DSs really have a problem with simple dust 'breaking' those buttons.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility. It would be very likely that in a large corp like sony their would be individuals not particularly happy with how things are being handled.
