Elden Ring PC system requirements announced

I wish we would get actuall benchmarks instead of this requiements bullshit. "hey you will be able to run the game with this hardware... at 20 fps but you will be able to run it!" Guess I have to wait for the real benchmarks to see if my 1070 will actually be good enough to run this at atleast...

Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

Where can I disable nogc in the Atmos emuMMC? After I updated my emuMMC to 9.2.0 it somehow enabled nogc again and my Switch can't read cartridges anymore. I had no problem with using my cartridges on 8.1.0.

ye... I had the same problem when I updated my emuNand. It was impossible for me to launch anything. Got the same message like you. I had to downgrade to 8.1.0 again so my emuNand was actually usable again lol Seems to be a problem with fw 9.1.0 and Atmos. On 8.1.0 and the newsest Atmos...

[UPDATE] Atmosphère version 0.10.1 now available

I want to keep my sysNand clean and don't brun fuses so I have to launch stock from hekate. If I just boot the sysNand normaly my fuses are fucked. And if I boot it with CFW there is a high risk of getting banned since I go online with my sysNand.

[UPDATE] Atmosphère version 0.10.1 now available

Just wanted to type that haha Thought I just need the new Atmos release. Still can't launch stock from hekate  I'm so retarded for updating sysNand in advance because I thought the fw of the sysNand wouldn't matter if you launch it from hekate.

Hacking TX Presents SX OS v2.9.3 BETA - Fully Supports v9.1.0

Could I use this to boot into sysNand? I don't want to use the CFW I just want to boot up the sysNand from RCM. What happens if you use the payload from SX OS does it just boot up SX OS or do you get to choose what to do?

Firmware Nintendo Switch firmware 9.1.0 released

The thing is I updated without burning fuses. If I would just boot up the switch without entering RCM/hekate first the fuses would be bruned. So I need a way to launch the sysnand with activating the nintendo bootloader which burns the fuses.

Firmware Nintendo Switch firmware 9.1.0 released

It seems like won't be able to launch stock if you update. Atleast when I try to launch stock through hekate it just sends me back to the hekate menu. Wonder if there is another way to launch stock without hekate.

    Hacking Blue screen :(

I had something similar happend to me. The only thing that worked for me was: Power the switch completly off, hold the power button for 15 seconds. Put your Jig in. Run Tegra and connect the Switch with your PC. Turn the Switch on. This way I could boot into RCM. But unfortunately I can't...

both of which work well in potplayer
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
amd is a bit cheaper though
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Cheaper and they are less stingy with the RAM not a big issue now but I can imagine in a yard or two things might be different
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Year not yard lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Interesting lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think I watched a video where two games at 4K where eating just over 16GB of RAM and it's the one case where the 7900XT and XTX pulled ahead (minus RTX of course)
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
cyberpunk at 4k without DLSS/fidelityfx *might* exceed 12gb
    +1
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but that game barely runs at native 4k
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it was some newer games and probably poorly optimized PS4 or PS5 ports
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
they definitely will age better but i feel dlss might outweigh that since it looks about as good as native resolution and much less demanding
    +1
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I played Cyberpunk on my old 2080 Ti it sucked lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They have FSR or whatever it's called and yeah it's still not great
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
so AMD seem to finally be starting to take AI seriously
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Oh yeah those new 8000 CPUs have AI cores built in that's interesting
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe they plan on offloading to the CPU?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Would be kinda cool to have the CPU and GPU working in random more
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Tandem even
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow
